Leading hospitality company Hyatt Vacation Ownership has just announced the rebrand of one of its vacation ownership programs available through Hyatt Vacation Club called the Platinum Program.
The program includes expanded vacation benefits and an impressive portfolio of resorts. This decision was made to help vacationers get more out of their Hyatt vacations through a collection of independent properties and access to a variety of other benefits through the World of Hyatt®
loyalty program.
Hyatt Vacation Ownership SVP and COO Stephanie Sobeck Butera stated:
“The last several years have shown us that a good vacation is exactly the therapy humans need to live and thrive in our modern world. We celebrate the power of vacations and are excited to offer another distinctive Vacation Ownership program for those who love to vacation and want it to be an ongoing part of their lives.”
The Platinum Program resort portfolio will consist of the formerly Welk Resorts properties, a favorite brand of many in some of the most sought-after destinations in the world, including California, Cabo San Lucas, and Colorado. These properties are focused on Hyatt’s core values and provide its guests with remarkable experiences, unmatched amenities, and distinctive touches that are specific to each property and its surroundings.
Additionally, the Platinum Program and these properties will cover the INSPIRED For You activities program which helps ensure owners and guests have the most memorable local experiences, like hiking, kayaking tours, escape rooms, and much more.
The resorts offered through the Platinum Program include:
- El Corazón de Santa Fe — Santa Fe, New Mexico
- Desert Oasis — Palm Springs Area, California
- The Lodges at Timber Ridge — Branson, Missouri
- Northstar Lodge — Lake Tahoe, California
- One Village Place — Lake Tahoe, California
- The Ranahan — Breckenridge, Colorado
- Sirena del Mar — Cabo San Lucas, Mexico
- The Welk — San Diego Area, California
Owners of the Platinum Program will be able to utilize not only this portfolio of resorts but also can utilize other accommodations and ownership benefits like travel discounts, as well as access to more than 1,100 World of Hyatt hotels, resorts, and all-inclusive experiences in over 65 countries.
World of Hyatt® members who stay at these participating resorts will also be able to earn World of Hyatt® points for transient stays and incidental purchases during their vacations and will be able to redeem World of Hyatt® points for stays at these properties.
