Leading external timeshare exchange company Interval International (II) has just announced its latest exclusive affiliation agreement with Château Morritt, Inc. which includes its Mont-Tremblant property, Château Morritt.
This new agreement will add Château Morritt to Interval’s expansive portfolio, which already has two other Morritt resorts already within its network. Included in this agreement are program design, back-office management, and customized reservation services provided to Château Morritt by Interval’s related company, Interval Resort & Financial Services, Inc.
II’s Senior VP of Global Business Development Marcos Agostini stated:
“David Morritt, the developer of Château Morritt, has established himself as one of the leading independent vacation ownership developers in the Caribbean over the past three decades. He sets the bar higher with each property he builds, continually engaging his loyal membership base with exciting new vacation products. We’re pleased to see the first phase of Château Morritt has opened as the property will potentially have a significant positive impact on the Mont-Tremblant tourism economy.”
Château Morritt is positioned on Lake Moore, is within walking distance of the beautiful Mont-Tremblant old village, and is a short drive from the area’s famous ski mountain resort. The property recently completed the first of four construction phases which included 21 one- and two-bedroom units. This project is estimated to take five years and will include 112 units when completed. The second phase of construction is set to begin in early 2022.
Château Morritt Developer David Morritt added:
“We’re delighted to further expand our relationship with Interval, a company that has played a dynamic role in our ongoing success. It’s very gratifying to have an exchange provider as active as Interval has been. Whether offering valuable membership programs and leisure benefits, informative sales trainings, or providing innovative point-of-sale technology, Interval can always be counted on to support our business.”
New Château Morritt owners will be enrolled as individual Interval Gold® members, which will provide them with a number of benefits including Interval Options®, ShortStay Exchange®; Hertz Gold Plus Rewards®, and VIP ConciergeSM.
The property’s design is focused on neutral colors and natural textures to tie in with the beauty that surrounds the resort. The well-appointed accommodations include features like fully-equipped kitchens, spacious living and dining areas, modern fixtures and finishes, as well as private balconies with mountain or lake views.
In addition to the first phase accommodations, the resort also added the Chez David restaurant, an ice skating rink, a private beach, and live entertainment. Phase two will include other common area additions like an indoor swimming pool, a day spa, a multi-purpose clubhouse, a second restaurant, a kids’ zone, and complimentary WiFi.
Mont-Tremblant has been voted the #1 ski resort in Eastern North America by Ski Magazine readers 20 times. In addition to skiing, vacationers can visit the pedestrian village, the old village, and the downtown area to find a number of restaurants and shops. In the summer, visitors can also explore the area’s six championship-level golf courses and Mont-Tremblant National Park for access to 67 hiking trails, 400+ lakes, six rivers, and several impressive waterfalls.
